Best Spin Mops in 2026: 10 Mop and Bucket Sets Ranked and Tested
By Felipe Iglesias · Updated
Mopping does not have to mean wringing a filthy cloth by hand. The best spin mops pair a foot-pedal wringer with a bucket that keeps your hands dry, and most now lift dirt and remove upwards of 99% of bacteria using nothing but water. However, comparing them on Amazon is harder than it should be. We went through 60 listings for spin mop and bucket sets in August 2026 and found the same Vileda Turbo set sold under four different product pages, with review counts ranging from 256 to more than 79,000 — and bucket capacity, the one number that decides how much floor you cover per fill, missing from six of the ten sets we shortlisted. Below are the ten best spin mops we would actually buy, ranked on wringing mechanism, bucket size, mop head design, review history and price, with every dubious listing claim flagged as we go.
O-Cedar EasyWring Microfibre Spin Mop and Bucket Floor Cleaning System
The most reviewed of the best spin mops on Amazon by a wide margin, with 188,535 ratings at 4.6 and a foot pedal that lets you dial in exactly how damp the head is.
Advantages
- 188,535 ratings at 4.6, the deepest review history in the category
- Foot pedal gives fine control over how damp the head is
- Splash guard keeps water inside the bucket while wringing
- Triangular head reaches corners a flat mop misses
- Refill heads are machine washable and sold separately
Disadvantages
- Sold as an international product: packaging and instructions may differ from UK stock
- Listing never states bucket capacity
- Around £13 more than the best-selling Vileda equivalent
No other mop and bucket set on Amazon comes close to this one on evidence. The O-Cedar EasyWring carries 188,535 ratings at 4.6 stars, which is roughly two and a half times the review count of the best-known Vileda set and a higher average on top of it. A rating that holds at 4.6 across that many buyers is about as strong a signal as this category produces.
Mechanically it is a conventional foot pedal spin mop, and that is the point. Pressing the pedal spins the microfibre head inside the wringer, and holding it longer leaves the head drier, so you can go damp for sealed hardwood and wetter for tile without changing anything. A splash guard keeps the spray inside the bucket rather than across the skirting boards, and the head is a triangular shape that reaches into corners a rectangular flat mop cannot.
Two things to know before you buy. Amazon flags this as an international product, with the standard notice that packaging, labelling and instructions may differ from a UK-sold equivalent, so do not be surprised by American spelling on the box. Second, the listing never states bucket capacity anywhere, which is a recurring problem in this category and the reason we made it a ranking criterion.
Vileda Turbo 2in1 Spin Mop and Bucket Set with Foot Pedal Wringer
The default UK spin mop and bucket set, and the listing to buy it from: this page holds 79,156 ratings while three near-identical Vileda pages hold as few as 256.
Advantages
- 79,156 ratings at 4.5 on this listing specifically
- Foot pedal wringer sets mop dampness by floor type
- Telescopic handle adjusts from 55cm to 130cm
- Front spout makes emptying the bucket tidy
- Around £13 cheaper than the top-rated O-Cedar
Disadvantages
- Sold under four separate listings with review counts from 256 to 79,156
- First bullet on the listing is an unfilled placeholder
- No bucket capacity published in the specifications
If you ask a British household to picture a spin mop, this is the one they picture. The Vileda Turbo 2in1 uses a foot pedal wringer to control how much water stays in the microfibre head, has a telescopic handle that runs from 55cm to 130cm, and empties through an integrated front spout so you are not sloshing a full bucket over the sink.
The genuinely useful thing to know is which listing to buy it from. Amazon currently sells this set across four separate product pages: this one at 79,156 ratings, another at roughly 9,700, a third at 5,200 and a fourth at just 256 ratings and a lower 4.3 average. The prices sit within £2 of each other, between £31.99 and £33.99. Land on the thin one and you would judge a product with nearly eighty thousand reviews on the strength of a couple of hundred, which is exactly the mistake this ranking exists to prevent.
Worth noting, meanwhile, that the listing carrying all that trust opens its About This Item section with a bullet that reads, in full, three dots. On the most reviewed Vileda mop in the country, the first thing Amazon shows you is a placeholder nobody ever filled in.
Vileda Turbo Deep Clean Spin Mop and Bucket Set, 5 Year Guarantee
The value pick among the best mop and bucket sets: a triangular scrub-pad head, a five year guarantee and 10,879 ratings, for under £30.
Advantages
- Five year guarantee published on the listing
- Scrub pad in the head lifts hair and stubborn dirt
- Triangular head cleans corners and skirting boards
- Telescopic handle adjusts from 65cm to 131cm
- Head releases by button so you never touch a dirty pad
Disadvantages
- Bucket capacity is not stated anywhere on the listing
- Head washes at 30C only, lower than most rivals here
- Fewer ratings than the two sets above it
The Turbo Deep Clean is the Vileda most worth paying attention to under £30. Its head combines microfibre strings with a central scrub pad, so it traps hair and lifts stubborn dirt rather than pushing it around, and the triangular shape gets into corners and along skirting boards. The telescopic handle adjusts from 65cm to 131cm and the head clicks off with a release button, so you never have to handle a dirty pad to put it in the wash.
Crucially, this is one of the few sets here that commits to anything in writing beyond the sales copy. Vileda states a five year guarantee, says the product contains more than 30% recycled material and confirms it is manufactured in Europe. In a category where most listings will not even tell you how big the bucket is, a published guarantee period is a meaningful differentiator.
At £29.98 with 10,879 ratings at 4.4, it is the sensible middle of this list: less proven than the two above it, better documented than everything below, and the cheapest set here that we would still expect to be working in five years.
O-Cedar EasyWring RinseClean Spin Mop and Bucket, Dual Water Tanks
The best proven clean and dirty water mop bucket here: a dual-chamber design with 36,177 ratings, more review history than every other two-tank set on this list combined.
Advantages
- 36,177 ratings, by far the most of any two-tank set here
- Separate clean and dirty tanks keep rinse water fresh
- Foot pedal wringing with adjustable moisture control
- Triangular 360 degree head for corners and under furniture
- Safe on finished hardwood, laminate, tile and vinyl
Disadvantages
- Most expensive set in this ranking at £52.27
- Sold as an international product: packaging may differ from UK stock
- Bucket capacity is not stated on the listing
Two-tank buckets are the one real innovation in this category. A conventional spin mop rinses the head in the same water you have already mopped with, so by the last room you are spreading a weak solution of everything you picked up in the first. The RinseClean splits the bucket into a clean chamber and a dirty one, so the head rinses in fresh water every time.
What separates this from the other dual-tank sets on Amazon is that people have actually bought it. It holds 36,177 ratings at 4.4, while the Vileda H2PrO spin version further down this list has 152 and the Spontex has 2,103. If you want the two-tank idea with a review history behind it rather than a launch listing, this is the only one that qualifies.
It is the most expensive set in this ranking at £52.27, roughly £22 more than the Vileda Turbo Deep Clean, and like its sibling at number one it is sold as an international product with the usual caveat about packaging and instructions. The triangular head rotates a full 360 degrees for corners and under furniture, and the refill is machine washable as you would expect at this price.
Leifheit Clean Twist Disc Mop Ergo, In-Handle Spin, 20L Bucket
The only self wringing mop here with the spin built into the handle instead of the bucket, and at 20 litres it has nearly seven times the capacity of the smallest set on this list.
Advantages
- 20 litre bucket, the largest capacity published in this ranking
- In-handle spin needs no foot pedal and can be used over a sink
- More presses equals a drier head, with genuine moisture control
- Head washes at 60C, the hottest of any set here
- 33cm disc head suits every hard floor type
Disadvantages
- Second most expensive set at £42.55
- Disc head takes some adjustment if you are used to a round string mop
- Large bucket is heavier to carry and harder to store
Leifheit does the wringing differently. Instead of a pedal on the bucket, the spin mechanism sits inside the handle: you press the handle down and the disc head spins, and the more presses you give it the drier the head becomes. In practice that means you can wring anywhere, including over a sink, and there is no pedal mechanism in the bucket to eventually give out.
It also has the largest bucket in this ranking by a distance, at 20 litres against dimensions of 46.6 x 34 x 26cm. That matters more than it sounds. Bucket capacity is the spec that decides how many rooms you get through before refilling, and it is the spec this category is worst at publishing — only four of the ten sets here state it at all. Among those four the range runs from 3 litres to this one, a 6.7x spread for money that differs by less than £3.
The 33cm mixed-microfibre disc head suits every hard floor type, the 360 degree handle joint lets it lie flat to get under furniture, and it washes at 60C, the hottest of any head here. At £42.55 it is the second most expensive set on this list, and the disc format takes a session or two to get used to if you have only ever used a round string mop.
Vileda Spin and Clean Mop and Bucket Set, Folding Head, 10L Bucket
The cheapest spin mop with wringer we would recommend, and one of only four here that publishes its bucket capacity: 10 litres for £22.99.
Advantages
- Cheapest set in this ranking at £22.99
- Publishes capacity, dimensions, weight and head size in full
- 10 litre bucket, larger than two sets costing nearly twice as much
- Folding head cleans skirting boards in one movement
- Scrubbing roller rinses hair off the pad while it spins
Disadvantages
- 4.0 from 14,951 ratings, the joint lowest rating with a large sample here
- Light bucket can shift under a hard spin
- Round head does not reach corners as well as the triangular designs
At £22.99 this is the budget end of the list, and it earns its place on documentation as much as on price. The specification table actually fills in the fields the rest of the category leaves blank: 10 litres of capacity, 33 x 33 x 18cm of bucket, 1.74kg of weight, a round 18cm head. That is more concrete information than the £52 O-Cedar publishes.
The head folds flat with one movement to clean skirting boards, and a scrubbing roller inside the bucket rinses hair and debris off the pad while you spin, so you are not putting a loaded pad back on the floor. Vileda states the microfibre removes over 99.9% of E. coli and S. aureus from hardwood and ceramic tile using water alone, and the refill washes at up to 60C and is rated for around six months of use.
The reason it is not higher is the rating. At 4.0 from 14,951 ratings, this is a real signal rather than noise: a large sample settling at exactly 4.0 usually means a set that works but has a recurring weak point, and in this case the bucket is small and light enough that it can shift when you push hard on the spin basket. For occasional mopping in a flat it is the sensible buy; for a house with a lot of hard floor, spend the extra on number three.
Vileda H2PrO Spin Mop and Bucket Set, Separates Clean and Dirty Water
The Vileda answer to the two-tank bucket, in the spin format rather than the flat one, but with only 152 ratings behind it so far.
Advantages
- Two tanks keep rinse water clean throughout the job
- Publishes 6 litre capacity and 55 to 123cm handle range
- Five year guarantee, like the Turbo Deep Clean
- Flexible triangular head reaches corners and goes under furniture
Disadvantages
- Only 152 ratings so far, far too thin to judge reliability
- Head fits the H2PrO system only, no other Vileda refill works
- Costs £39.99 for less proof than the £29.98 Turbo Deep Clean offers
The H2PrO is Vileda taking on the dual-tank idea, and this is the spin version rather than the flat mop that shares the name. A red lever opens the flow from the clean tank and can be left open for continuous rinsing, so the head goes back to the floor with fresh water on it rather than what you have already mopped up. The tank holds 6 litres and the telescopic handle runs from 55cm to 123cm.
The flexible triangular head reaches corners and slides under furniture, the microfibre is machine washable and Vileda backs the set with the same five year guarantee it puts on the Turbo Deep Clean. In principle this is the strongest specification on the list: two tanks, a published capacity, a published handle range and a published guarantee, from a brand with genuine UK distribution.
In practice it is too new to recommend above the O-Cedar RinseClean. It has 152 ratings sitting at 4.0, against 36,177 at 4.4 for the O-Cedar, and one refill note is worth reading before you commit: the H2PrO head is designed for this system only, and no other Vileda refill fits it. That locks you into a single replacement part for a product line that has not yet proven it will stay in stock.
MASTERTOP Spin Mop and Bucket Set with Wringer and 3 Reusable Pads
The best value non-brand option: a wet and dry two-bucket system with three pads for £22.15 and 2,645 ratings behind it.
Advantages
- Costs £22.15 with 2,645 ratings, the best value per review here
- Two-bucket wet and dry system separates clean from dirty water
- Three machine-washable pads included instead of one
- Disassembles without tools and stores inside its own bucket
Disadvantages
- Product dimensions field quotes the 131cm handle, not the bucket
- No bucket capacity published anywhere on the listing
- Unbranded seller with no stated guarantee period
MASTERTOP is the strongest of the unbranded spin mop and bucket sets on Amazon, and at £22.15 with 2,645 ratings at 4.2 it undercuts every Vileda here except the Spin and Clean. The design uses two buckets rather than one divided bucket, letting you keep clean water on one side and dirty on the other, and it ships with three machine-washable microfibre pads instead of the single pad most sets include.
It also stores better than anything else on this list. The parts come apart without tools and the mop stows inside the bucket, which matters if your cleaning cupboard is a corner of a hallway. The whole set weighs 2.3kg and has a carry handle.
One listing detail is worth correcting. MASTERTOP publishes the product dimensions as 43.5 x 18.5 x 131cm, and the 131cm is the fully extended handle, not the bucket. Reading that field literally would have you expecting a bucket taller than a kitchen worktop. Bucket capacity, meanwhile, is not stated at all, which is the same gap most of this category leaves.
Spin Mop and Bucket Set with 4 Extra Microfibre Heads, Steel Handle
Five heads in the box for £24.99, which is the cheapest way onto this list if you hate buying refills, though the 3.9 rating is a real warning.
Advantages
- Four spare microfibre heads included on top of the fitted one
- Stainless steel handle rather than plastic
- Undercuts most branded sets that ship with a single head
- 360 degree rotating head for corners
Disadvantages
- 3.9 from 1,899 ratings, the lowest large-sample rating in this list
- No brand, no guarantee period and no stated bucket capacity
- Generic template bullet copy shared with many similar listings
The pitch here is refills. Most spin mop sets include one head and sell you replacements at £8 to £12 a time; this one ships with four spares on top of the fitted head, which at £24.99 works out cheaper than buying a mid-range set and one pack of refills. The handle is stainless steel rather than the plastic telescopic poles used further up this list, and the head rotates a full 360 degrees for corners.
The rating is where you have to be honest with yourself. At 3.9 from 1,899 ratings, this sits below every other set here, and a sample that size settling under 4.0 is a signal rather than noise. It is not a disaster rating, but it is the difference between a set most people are happy with and a set a meaningful minority are not.
The listing is also entirely generic. There is no brand name, no stated bucket capacity, no guarantee period and no handle length, and the bullet copy is the sort of keyword-stuffed template you see across dozens of near-identical products. Buy it for the five heads and the steel handle at a low price, and set your expectations at the rating, not at the marketing.
Spontex Aqua Revolution System Xtra Mop and Bucket Set with Free Refill
Included for the two-tank pump design and 2,103 ratings, but it is the worst-documented listing here and its 3 litre bucket is the smallest by a distance.
Advantages
- Pump mechanism wrings and rinses without a foot pedal
- Separates dirty and clean water without splashing
- Two microfibre refills included in the box
- Handle adjusts from 125cm to 140cm, the longest range here
Disadvantages
- Has a 3 litre bucket, the smallest here, at £39.99
- 3.8 from 2,103 ratings, the lowest in this ranking
- Specification table claims the whole set weighs 0.07 grams
- Title calls it a spin mop while the bullets describe a flat mop head
Spontex takes a different route to clean rinse water. Rather than a pedal and a spinning basket, a pump mechanism wrings and rinses in one motion, with a yellow tab on the bucket marking where to position the head. Two microfibre refills come in the box, the head folds for skirting boards and tight corners, and the handle adjusts between 125cm and 140cm, the longest range in this ranking.
The problem is the bucket. At 3 litres it is the smallest here by some way, and it costs £39.99. By contrast the Leifheit at number five gives you 20 litres for £42.55 and the Vileda at number six gives you 10 litres for £22.99. Three litres is roughly a large kettle and a half, which for anything beyond a small flat means refilling part way through.
This listing is also the reason we started checking specification tables against the sales copy. It records the item weight of a full mop and bucket set as 0.07 grams, ticks the box for contains liquid contents, lists the recommended surfaces in German rather than English, and describes what its own bullets call a flat mop head as a spin mop in the title. At 3.8 from 2,103 ratings it is the lowest-rated set we kept, and it is here on the strength of the pump idea rather than the execution.

Final Verdict
The best spin mops for you come down to how much floor you cover and how fussy you are about rinse water. For everyday mopping, a foot pedal spin mop and bucket set around £30 dries floors fast with no bending and no wringing by hand. By contrast, if you want a genuinely deeper clean, a clean and dirty water mop bucket keeps you mopping with fresh water right to the last room, though you pay roughly £15 more for the second tank. Crucially, check the bucket capacity before you buy: it is the spec most listings leave out, and among the sets that do publish it the range runs from 3 litres to 20 litres for almost identical money. And if you find two listings for what looks like the same mop, compare the review counts before you compare the prices — in this category the cheaper page is often the newer, thinner one. Whichever of the best spin mops you choose, a telescopic handle, a machine-washable microfibre refill and a stated guarantee are what separate a mop you still use next year from one you replace by spring.
Why trust this ranking?
We rank on price, customer ratings and the specifications that decide the job, and we read each specification table against the marketing bullets on the same listing. When a number does not survive that check, we say so in the entry rather than quietly dropping the product. We also say when a product is the wrong one for you.
