The VIWOODS AiPaper Mini is an 8.2-inch E Ink tablet with a 1920x1440 screen, 128 GB of storage and a bundle that adds a stylus, folio cover, spare nibs and a USB-C cable. It takes eighth place in our guide to e-ink digital notebooks at £349.99, with a 4.1 rating across 59 ratings.
The figure worth checking on this listing is not in the spec table but in the ratings block. The listing quotes 59 ratings, while its own star histogram — 63 five-star, 13 four-star, 7 three-star, 11 two-star and 6 one-star — adds up to 100. The five-star bar on its own is bigger than the total number of ratings the listing states, so the 4.1 average sits on top of a distribution the listing itself does not reconcile. Where this page does hold together is the screen: an 8.2-inch panel at 1920x1440 is consistent with the 292PPI quoted in the bullets, and 1920x1440 is a genuine 4:3 ratio rather than a stretched figure. The spec sheet also gives a weight of 230 g but no battery capacity beyond "Lithium-Ion", so there is no mAh number here to set against the day-long claims other listings in this guide make. Everything on this page is taken from the Amazon listing, not from our own testing.
How those 59 ratings break down
An average hides its own shape. This is the spread behind the 4.1 stars.
