The Tenda Nova AX1500 3-pack takes tenth place in our mesh WiFi ranking, and it is the budget floor at GBP 94.85 for three Wi-Fi 6 units. It does one thing the pricier systems could learn from: it describes coverage in rooms — "up to 2-4 rooms" — which is far more useful to a real buyer than a lab square-footage nobody can picture. That said, the honesty only goes so far, because the listing also scatters "4 rooms", "7 rooms", "6000 sq ft" and "300 m²" across the page. As an AX1500 dual-band system it is the same class as the TP-Link X10 and Mercusys H60X, with the same band-sum speed rating, at the lowest price of the three.
What keeps it last is the reception and the spec sheet. At 3.8 stars on 149 ratings it is the second-lowest average here, with 19 per cent one-star reviews, and it is undercut on record by the similarly priced Mercusys H60X. Its specification table also carries two clear errors: it lists the voltage as "1.5 Volts", which is an AA-battery figure for a device that runs on a 12-volt adapter, and names the operating system as "RouterOS", MikroTik's software, exactly the same wrong entry the ASUS listing carries. It will get WiFi into more of a small home for very little, but the better-rated Mercusys costs only a few pounds more. Everything here comes from the Amazon listing rather than our own testing.

Is the Tenda Nova worth it as the cheapest option?
It gets three Wi-Fi 6 units into a small home for under GBP 95, so for a flat or clearing one stubborn dead spot cheaply it is tempting. But the similarly priced Mercusys H60X has a markedly better review record, so it is the sounder budget buy; choose the Tenda only if it is the cheapest available when you look.
How much does it cover?
The listing helpfully talks in rooms — "up to 2-4 rooms" — which is easier to picture than square footage. It then muddies it with "4 rooms", "7 rooms", "6000 sq ft" and "300 m²" elsewhere. Treat it as covering a small-to-medium home with three units.
Why does the spec sheet say 1.5 volts?
That is a catalogue error: 1.5 volts is an AA battery, not a mains device. The units run from a 12-volt adapter off 230-volt mains. Like the "RouterOS" operating-system entry, it is a form field filled in wrongly, not a real specification.
Is "AX1500" the speed I get?
No. As with every system here, it is the two bands added together; the table shows 1,201 Mbps for the 5GHz band, with the 2.4GHz band making up the rest. No single device sees 1,500, and your broadband is almost certainly slower anyway.
Why does it rank last?
On the evidence. At 3.8 stars with 19 per cent one-star reviews it is the second-lowest rated system here, and the Mercusys H60X offers the same budget Wi-Fi 6 mesh with a better record for a few pounds more. It is cheap and does the job for a small home; it is just not the safest budget spend.
Does it support WPA3?
Yes, the listing names both WPA2 and WPA3, so its security is up to date even if the rest of the spec sheet is careless.
