The finding here is quieter than elsewhere in the guide: the big number in the title survives contact with the spec fields. “This is great bit of kit. It is large, so finding a space for it might be the biggest challenge. It is very quiet, especially when not under load, but it seems smart in terms of cooling which is nice. Does the MINGHAOXIN 2000W inverter really deliver 2000W continuously?
Its own listing fields say so: Output Power 2000 Watts, Wattage 2000 watts and Inverter Capacity Volt-Amp 2000, with Peak Output Power Watts and Surge Protection Rating both at 4000. The bullet calls it 2000w Continuous / 4000w Peak.
How many sockets does it have?
The bullet describes 2 AC outlets plus a USB port and a Type-C port. The Number of Outlets field says 4, so that figure counts the USB ports as well as the two AC sockets.
What does the Standby Power Shutoff figure of ">95%" tell me about standby use?
It tells you nothing about power drawn at rest, because it is a percentage and not a watt figure. The same MINGHAOXIN listing quotes up to 95% conversion efficiency in its bullet, which is what the number appears to be.
Is a remote control included?
Yes. Box Contents lists Cable, Fuse, Instruction Manual and Remote Control, and the bullet describes a 30m wireless remote for model 218-2000W.
How loud is it and how does it cool?
The listing refers to dual cooling fans and an aluminium alloy shell for heat dissipation. No decibel figure is given anywhere in the MINGHAOXIN listing, so we cannot quote one.
