eufy Security E40 PoE CCTV System, 4 4K Cameras, 2TB

“this is a nvr security system from eufy, model e40, a total solution that includes the nvr and 4 bullet cameras; the network video recorder itself supports up to 8 cameras, can further expand to support 16 cameras with an add on poe switch, 8 cameras should be more than enough for a home security system anyway. 4 bullets cameras included are poe cameras, that means video signal and power are all delivered with only ethernet cable, no messy video cable and power cable together, also it's an easy upgrade for me, as i'm replacing my old nvr security system that already have ethernet cable installed at all locationssetup the system was easy, just need to connect all camera ethernet cables, network cable to router, hdmi cable to tv, mouse for on-screen control, of course the power cable, nvr build quality is very good, design like a set top box, but much nice and simplerno messy setup for cameras, just plug in the cable to back of nvr and they're setup automatically, much easier than adding wifi cameras, but this nvr only works with eufy cameras, adding non eufy camera might not work as expected; waterproof connectors are provided for installing cameras outdoor, nice and neatthe s4 nvr included has a pre-installed 2tb harddrive, spacious if i only need to record motion triggered events, but for me i'm recording video continuously, so it can only record footage for about a weeks (4 video cameras) before overwriting, not optimal, but the 2tb harddrive can be replaced with max 16tb harddrive, so i can have a full month footage for backupbascially the nvr system works the same way as any ordinary nvr, using home big tv as the surveillance video wall that can view all camera at the same time, or i can use the eufy app to view remotely if not at home, function provided as good as using tv console, or even better, i can receive notification of motion detection and alerts with mobile phone, just like other eufy devices (i.e. doorbell, wall light, etc)i'm able to review all 24/7 recorded video anytime with the tv console, or with the app, and download specific video clip when needed; a very special feature from eufy system that i can search video with descriptive text, into very detailed like a black cat, man with blue jacket, royal mail van, etc, that's extremely useful and time save to search a moment from thousands of videoincluded e40 bullet cameras have max 4k video resolution, very sharp and clear image, the colour night vision feature makes video in low light environvment as good as taken in the day, also it got the traditional infrared night vision as well as the spotlight assisted night vision, this model has no pan and tilt function, but with the 122 degree wide angle lens, very good angle coverage at fixed locationall in all, this is a very advanced home nvr security system, as long as camera wiring is not a deal-breaker, i had all the wiring already setup, so replacing the old nvr with this one is a no brainer, and very easy to be doneimpressed with all ai detection feature, particularly the ai video search, that really help alot, time saving and find video accurately, very satisfied with this product, would recommend”
