Six of the ten cameras in this comparison are sold as 2K, and they do not mean the same thing by it. Proper 2K, the QHD standard, is 2560 by 1440 pixels — 3.69 megapixels. A 3 megapixel sensor in the same 16:9 shape gives 2304 by 1296, which is 19% fewer pixels while wearing the same label. Tapo demonstrates the whole problem inside its own range: the C211 at £21.99 says a 3 megapixel lens provides 2K resolution, and the C220 at £23.99 says 2K QHD resolution, 2560 by 1440, 4MP. Two pounds apart, both badged 2K, a full megapixel between them, and only one of them tells you the pixel dimensions. Elsewhere it gets stranger. Imou adds two 3 megapixel lenses pointing in different directions and calls the result 2K+2K. Eufy promises up to 2K and notes in brackets that it drops to 1080p on HomeKit, which is one of the three integrations it advertises. Two more say 2K and publish no number at all.
